Two Brooklyn high schools were evacuated Monday morning after receiving suspected bomb threats, sources said.
The threats were leveled at Edward R. Murrow High School in Midwood and New Utrecht High School in Bensonhurst.
An anonymous person called the NYC SAFE hotline and started making threatening remarks towards the two schools, cops confirmed to The Post.
Police couldn’t immediately confirm the nature of the threats but sources said they were bomb threats.
Both schools, which are located about three miles from each other, were evacuated.
Students at Murrow were left waiting outside in the freezing temperatures without their coats amid the rushed evacuations.
Authorities are at both schools investigating but no suspicious packages have been found, a source said.
